This website design was created for 5280 Elevated, Inc. to serve as a business/brand hub for the magazine and its sub brands and products. I had full ownership of this project and designed this site from concept to wireframing to website creation using wordpress. You can view the website at 5280-elevated.com.
5280 Top of the Town is an annual event held by 5280 magazine in celebration of the local people and businesses who were named one of Denver’s best in the Top of the Town issue. I was in charge of the design for the entirety of this event including branding, marketing and promotional materials, event signage, and sponsor toolkits and recaps.
After being given a mood board for the event (see below), I developed the brand identity and created a logo and design elements to give the event a strong presence in the market. Promotional materials included a mailed print invite, digital newsletter invites, microsite, banner ads, tv spots, and more. Event signage included wayfinding boards, welcome banners, menu signage, gift tags, informational easels, stage graphics, and more.
5280’s Engaged User Workflow was built and designed to target database users who clicked on links in our editorial newsletters. They are then funneled into this workflow that uses a combination of brand storytelling and visual marketing to drive print subscription sales. This creates conversions from digital newsletter subscribers to paying print subscribers.
5280 Travel Club is a B2C promotion that offers trips curated and organized by the 5280 team. Launched in 2025, the campaign goal is to book travelers and create brand awareness of this new product. I had full ownership of this design project from logo and website creation, brand direction, and production of all promo materials.
5280 runs almost-monthly promotion campaigns to convert digital users to print subscribers. These are multi-channel campaigns with an emphasis on email marketing to our active database and social media followers via Instagram and Meta. We also run display banner ads in our editorial newsletters to drive awareness of this campaign and the promo offer.
Shop.5280.com is an e-commerce microsite that was designed in-house by myself and my front-end developer using Wordpress and WooCommerce. After using Shopify for several years, we decided that we could save money by building and maintaining this in-house.
I have owned this program entirely from creation and design of the microsite to uploading all products, fulfilling orders, and creating promotions each month driving traffic to that month’s featured products.
