This website design was created for 5280 Elevated, Inc. to serve as a business/brand hub for the magazine and its sub brands and products. I had full ownership of this project and designed this site from concept to wireframing to website creation using wordpress.
5280 Top of the Town is an annual event held by 5280 magazine in celebration of the local people and businesses who were named one of Denver’s best in the Top of the Town issue. I was in charge of the design for the entirety of this event including branding, marketing and promotional materials, event signage, and sponsor toolkits and recaps.
After being given a mood board for the event (see below), I developed the brand identity and created a logo and design elements to give the event a strong presence in the market. Promotional materials included a mailed print invite, digital newsletter invites, microsite, banner ads, tv spots, and more. Event signage included wayfinding boards, welcome banners, menu signage, gift tags, informational easels, stage graphics, and more.
This brand identity package was done for Raising Parents, a new community focused on helping moms and dads find friends and parenting resources. I created a logo, brand guideline book, and website for this project.
In 2022, 5280 did a design refresh of their daily newsletter, The Local. While I did not design the template for this refresh, I did handle many of the promotional and marketing pieces to help with the roll out of this new brand. This included sponsored social posts, programmatic ads, print advertisements, and eblasts.
5280 Thought Forum was an event hosted by 5280 and University of Colorado Denver to bring together some of the Centennial State’s top minds for an afternoon of thoughtful conversations about Colorado’s economy. While I did not design the branding for this event, I did support graphics for the event and sponsors. I also provided strategy support around the promotion of this new event with art direction of the website and ticketing platforms.

This Engaged User Workflow was built and designed to target 5280’s database users who clicked on links in our newsletters. They were then prompted through these emails that I designed to subscribe to our print issue at a discounted rate.
5280 Top of the Town readers’ choice ballot campaign. With this campaign, 5280 received over 48,000 votes and added more than 7,800 new emails to its database. This was an increase of more than 20 percent compared to the previous year.

I created this Instagram filter using Spark AR for the 5280 Top of the Town Virtual Event in July 2020. Since it was posted, the filter has seen 16.7K impressions, 5.8K opens, and 601 posted captures. During the live broadcast, viewers took photos using the filter with the #TOTT hashtag and then 5280 put together a collage of all of the viewers, so they could see themselves on the broadcast.
